Overview

Nobunaga Mahjong is a historical-warfare riichi mahjong game published by e frontier for the Xbox exclusively in Japan on April 24, 2003.

One of two mahjong games released for the original Xbox, with the other one being Takahashi Akiko no Mahjong Seminar, Nobunaga Mahjong features a historical feudal Japan theme, a dedicated story mode with wargame aspects, and character art from seinen manga artist Ryoichi Ikegami.

Set during Japan's Warring States period, the game chronicles the rise in power of the famed daimyō Nobunaga Oda through games of mahjong.
