Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis

Existing alongside the original PSO2, New Genesis turns the game into more of an open world. Also MAG stats no longer matter? Wait, what?

After six episodes of content, the continuing story of PSO2 will take place in a reboot/overhaul called Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. Characters and some items will transfer between the two games.

New Genesis will come to most of the platforms that PSO2 already appeared on, and presumably will use the same server splits put in place in the original game, meaning a Japanese version that supports PS4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch (via a streaming-based cloud version) and a North American game for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
